I work on the 10th floor of a high rise office building. I have a cubicle. No open windows, recyled air /poor venelation.

There is a co-worker who wears extremely heavy perfume.
I have allergies/sensitivities to this sort of thing. The scent lingers wherever she is/has been and it you can taste it on your tongue - yuck! This morning I really had a physical reaction to it. My eyes and skin got itchy, I sneezed and my throat is all scratchy now. I did not have these symptoms until she was around this morning.

I have been hoping someone who is closer to her here at work would say something to her privately. I can’t imagine no one else noticing! That has not happened.

I have only been here about a year. I do not want to alienate anyone or cause a problem.

How do I handle this?
Do I say something to her? To our supervisor?
Just stock up on Benedryl and keep silent?
Make a subtle statement by wearing a gas mask when in her presence?

I have a co-worker that wears perfumes, and another woman complains about it constantly, the second woman says it makes her sick. The perfumed lady says there is no policy against it, so she is free to do as she likes. Do you think HR should create a policy on wearing perfumes, or just let people solve it themselves?

I was at Urban Outfitters yesterday and I tried on this perfume that I absolutely loved, but I forgot to look at the name of it. It came in a cylindrical glass bottle and the box was blue. I believe it had an Asian girl on it with brown hair. There were about 3 or 4 other types that came in different colors, but I can’t remember the name! Any idea?

how to create and start a perfume line?

Filed Under Perfume | Comments Off

I have an idea to start a perfume line and I know it would sell big time. How do I go about getting my perfume made, and produced, and marketed? I have searched all over online and Ican’t find anything I am looking for. I just want to go to a company , make my perfume, and go from there. I want to custom make my bottle too. Please email me and let me know.

I currently have a bottle of perfume that I’ve had for 3 or 4 years and I’m wondering if I should throw it out or is it still good?

My husband sent it to me in a box that says with love from kuwait. It is in beautiful crystal perfume bottle. When he sent it he had to dump it out according to the laws there. I am trying to find the perfume to refill the bottle. I love the smell of it. Please help.
